We approaching Holy Week and Easter. During Holy Week we remember the final week of Jesus as he went to Jerusalem. At first he was welcomed as God’s promised king. Very soon though he was betrayed, abandoned, interrogated and crucified like a common criminal by the religious leaders of Jerusalem and the political rulers of Rome. Yet that is not the end of the story, because Jesus is God’s victory over all that corrupt, usurp and destroy life as God intends it to be. To all who trust in Jesus as the crucified and risen Lord a whole new way of life becomes possible.
Join us this coming Holy Week and Easter to celebrate the victory of God through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus the King, the Good Shepherd who lays down his life for his sheep.
